Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a global icon that changed the game of professional basketball. Since his stellar professional career, he has gone on to become a celebrated New York Times-bestselling author, filmmaker, ambassador of education, and Time Magazine columnist. RESERVE A SEAT: Admission is free, but seating is limited. Reserve a seat online at newportbeachlibrary.org/calendar under the October 3 event date. Program is funded by the Friends of the Library. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Please come early; reserved seats will be released to waiting attendees if unclaimed by 6:45 p.m.
