Learn about the most common college essay topics and how to approach them in the College Essay Writing Workshop provided by C2 Education. When preparing for college, students typically focus on standardized test scores, GPA, and extracurricular activities, and may put any required essays on the back burner. That's understandable given all the excitement and activity during the college admission process. However, the essay is very important because while the other admission factors can be quantified with numbers, the essay is an opportunity for applicants to separate themselves. The essay gives students an opportunity to find and showcase a unique voice, perspective, or experience. And that's exactly why it's difficult. Many students simply need help finding the right way to approach these essay topics and truly develop a winning essay. This FREE workshop provided by C2 Education will help you gain the confidence and skills to write college application essays that stand out. This is a free event but registration is required and space is limited. Should there be openings on the day of the test, we will be accepting walk-ins on a first-come, first serve-basis. Please note that if you signed up on our website for the wait list and are not contacted about an open space prior to the test day, you will need to come into the library as a walk-in on the morning of the test. The library opens at 9 am and we would recommend showing up soon after opening to increase your chances of getting a spot, if some become available.
