This is a 2-hour, hands-on workshop with a maximum of 12 participants. The first 30 minutes of the session will cover: NAMING CONVENTIONS. What's in a name? Uncover naming patterns and their significance to genealogy. Surnames, Given Names, and misinterpretations. Learn the importance of naming conventions, to provide insight into the identities of one's ancestors. The remaining 90 minutes will be an interactive round table. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their progress, ask questions and receive guidance. All levels of genealogical research are welcome to register.
